The student web site

For those of you who don't know, there is a student web site with some basic information for beginners and new students. That link is www.blakenix.org. For those of you interested in my music and what I play, start by going to www.blakenix.com and check out the tunes. From there you can go to the Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, myspace pages if you're into the social networks. My CD, 'Mr Adams' Blues', is an example of how I take some of the techniques and ideas I teach and use them to record an album. Students should understand though, that these ideas are meant to allow the student to follow their own path and make the music they want to make. The music we learn should reflect one's life and lifestyle and work within it. We'll learn more about how we do that in lessons! See you soon...
