Regarding live performance: Arranging with the looper.

KT Tunstall live.   This is one of her biggest hits.  Great singer and player.   The looper is often used as a real time recording device.  With or without a looper percussion and harmony can add a lot to a live performance.  Go get you some KT Tunstall music while you are at it.
