Just hanging out playing some guitar...

What do we do on the guitar if we are not professionals?  How about if are professionals but we are not having a show?  What's the difference between the big stage and the backyard, or the beach?   Here are Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter in both environments.   The first video is the official video from Kenny.  For those playing along, the guitars in the studio version and the beach version are tuned a half step low, but the CMA version is in standard.  This is usually for the singers but sometimes for the sound the looser tuning has on the guitars.  The chords are G G/B Cadd9 in the beginning and then it goes to D and adds a Bm later in the song.  Note that Grace plays the four string version of the Bm while Kenny plays the bar version.
