90's classics. Digging Walk on the Ocean by Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Chord inversions, chord substitutions, fretless bass, thoughtful lyrics, good singing, interesting arrangements and harmonizings.  Walk on the Ocean is a blast from the past if you like the early 90s.  There is a lot to learn from this song.  Great parts and a great arrangement with each member making a subtle contribution to the sound rather than showing off their chops.  The bass player does some very tasteful supportive playing which is missed when Glen plays it solo.  Check out these versions and note the changes from arrangement to arrangement.

Here's a newer version.  Note that the key is different.

Another newer version featuring Glenn (lead singer) and a vocalist trying out some harmony

One last version of the band playing it in a very informal setting!
